Community Service Projects
To benefit our community we, the MOMS Club® of Gainesville perform at least one service project benefiting children and moms each year.
Some of our projects from last year included:
- buying books and relaxing chairs for a reading nook for a 3rd grade class at a local elementary school
- buying chairs and pencil sharpeners for a 4th grade class at a local elementary school
- monetary donation to a 4th grade class of a local school to use on a field trip
- monetary donation to Gainesville Jaycees Empty Stocking Fund which buys Christmas Presents for needy children in the Gainesville area
- kids valentine craft which were delivered to a local retirement home just for fun
- periodic kids craft projects for the children to do and give away to nursing homes, soldiers, or other worthy causes
- monetary donation to a local shelter for battered and abused women and their children
